Sparks Police arrested a man in a case of domestic assault. It happened just before 7 last night at a home on El Rancho Drive. Police responded to a call about an attempted stabbing. After officers arrived, they learned that a man and woman in a relationship got into a fight, and the man battered the woman. He then pulled out a knife and threatened the woman and another person, that person called police. 60 year old James Scott has been charged with domestic battery with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
