Nevada Governor Vetoes Three Gun Control Bills

Governor Joe Lombardo has vetoed three gun bills, saying they infringe on constitutional rights. AB 354 prohibited guns at polling locations and ballot drop off or counting locations. AB 355 raises the age for ownership to 21 for possession of certain assault weapons. And SB 171, would “RedFlag” anyone who is convicted of a hate crime, from owning a gun for ten years. Democrats say the Governor is out of touch with Nevada voters who favor all these measures.
