An ethical “Ooops” from Governor Joe Lombardo. The Nevada Commission on Ethics’ executive director believes Gov. Joe Lombardo committed ethics violations by using his sheriff’s badge and uniform during his campaign for Governor. Ethics Commission boss Ross Armstrong says the Governor should pay a civil penalty of 1.6 million dollars, be censured, and should hire an ethics officer at the Governors Office. His campaign lawyers in legal papers connected to the probe say Armstrong is using a sledgehammer to swat a fly. The investigation will cite 68 violations.
