(Reno, NV) — A driver is dead after their car went 800 feet down the side of a mountain near Winters Creek Lodge in Washoe County. The car fell off Mount Rose Highway and into a ravine on Wednesday afternoon. The driver died while rescue crews were attempting to save them. The cause of the crash is not clear.
