Crews knocked out a brush fire that burned about a half-acre Sunday night in Sun Valley. Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue spent the night mopping up hot spots to avoid a re-ignition. The fire started at the end of Chimney Drive. No injuries or major damage was reported. The cause is under investigation.
