Police are investigating a Drive-by shooting that occurred in the 2100 block of Rosemary Drive in Sparks last night. Just after 5 o’clock, officers and the Regional Gang Unit arrived on scene and determined that a gold-colored Subaru wagon was involved in the shooting. There were no injuries, however, multiple vehicles and homes were damaged. During the investigation the suspect’s vehicle was found, and a traffic stop was conducted. It was determined one of the occupants of the vehicle, David Maciel, was responsible for the shooting. He’s now facing multiple charges including: Assault with a deadly weapon, shooting from a motor vehicle, and possession of a firearm without a serial number.
