A missing girl has been found safe and her non-custodial mother arrested. The sheriff’s office reported 12-year-old Arya Daffern missing on July 27th and believed she was with her mother, 45-year-old Angela Sloan, who does not have custody of her. Toole County Sheriff’s Office deputies in Montana arrested Sloan on a Washoe County warrant. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office says the child is safe and healthy and in the custody of Child Protective Services and is being returned to Nevada. Sloan will be extradited back to Washoe County.
