He was wanted for three robberies involving a gun in Sparks. Now he’s under arrest. Juan Lopez Mercado was taken into custody after a traffic stop for an expired license plate last week. He’s charged with three counts off robbery with a deadly weapon. Police say Mercado hit three different businesses in late August, each time he was able to get away with an unknown amount of cash. He was arrested last Tuesday.
