Sparks Police responded to a 911 call for a head-on crash Sunday morning. Authorities were forced to close southbound lanes of Vista Blvd between Loop and Brierly Way. The road reopened about four hours later. One person was extricated from each vehicle and taken to the hospital. Police say one of the vehicles drifted into the lane of the other, that driver is believed to have been impaired.
