A ballot initiative aiming to require voter ID in the Silver State is still alive. Monday, a judge rejected a lawsuit attempting to block the initiative, which is being proposed by the Repair the Vote PAC. The judge determined the ballot initiative to be constitutional, and dismissed complaints claiming it contained an unfunded mandate. If the proposal is eventually passed, Nevada’s voters would be required to present a photo ID at polling places.
