The United States Geological Survey reported two earthquakes in the Plumas National Forest of magnitudes 4.5 and 4.3 last night. They struck about 6:34 p.m. about 88 miles northwest of Reno. There was a magnitude 2.9 quake in the area about a half hour later. The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office said it received no reports of damage.
