Reno will remain under a heat advisory through eight o’clock tonight. The advisory applies to northern Washoe County, the greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area, and Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties. The National Weather Service is calling for highs between 95 and 100 degrees. Reno does not usually see its first triple-digit day of the year until around mid July.
