(Reno, NV) — Washoe County School District students can say goodbye to using their cellphones in class in most situations. On Tuesday, the WCSD Board of Trustees voted to block most student cellphone use. The so-called “Phone Away and Learn Today” plan requires phones to be stored away during class time. There will be special circumstances for students with disabilities. The plan could launch as soon as the second semester of the current school year.
