(Reno, NV) — The Reno Fire Department is warning residents of a new scam. Someone is calling people and claiming to be from the “Washoe Firefighters Association,” which does not actually exist. The person is asking people for money. The Reno Fire Department says it never calls people asking for monetary donations or payment. Anyone who gets one of these calls is asked to just ignore it.
