Parents Allegedly Waited Almost 5 Hours After Girl Died to Call 911

(Cold Springs, NV) — The parents of a five-year-old girl whose body was found at a home in Cold Springs are accused of waiting nearly five hours after her death to call 911. That is according to an arrest report and declaration of probable cause from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office. The girl’s father, 35-year-old Nicholas Loving, is accused of beating her before her death on April 3rd. Police say Loving and the girl’s mother, Andrea Loving, recently had a Child Protective Services case against them closed. Police also say the couple’s story about what happened kept changing during their interviews with detectives. Emergency medical personnel say the girl had signs of trauma all over her body.
