(Incline Village, NV) — Sand Harbor State Park will be requiring reservations starting today and every day through mid-October. People will be required to have a day pass to visit the park at Lake Tahoe. Nevada State Parks made the decision to require day passes every day after a trial run on weekends and holidays last year. Park rangers and officials called the trial run a success. Visitors arriving in vehicles between eight and 10:30 in the morning must secure a reservation in advance. After 10:30 a.m., any unclaimed reservation spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
