Washoe County will be looking for a new library director. On Wednesday, former library director Jeff Scott voluntarily resigned from his position. His decision came ahead of a scheduled board meeting to discuss his future. Library board members recently gave Scott low effectiveness ratings on his 90-day evaluation. Stacy McKenzie is assistant library director. It’s unclear if McKenzie will be appointed interim director.
