Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Greater Lake Tahoe Area

(Incline Village, NV) — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the greater Lake Tahoe area. It will be in place from five p.m. today to eleven a.m. on Sunday. During that time, three to six inches of snow could fall in areas above seven-thousand feet. The highest peaks could get up to ten inches of snow. One to three inches of snow could fall at lake level. And, ridge winds could reach speeds of up to 60-miles-per-hour. The advisory applies to several cities, including Tahoe City, Truckee, Incline Village, Markleeville, Glenbrook, Stateline and South Lake Tahoe.
