(South Lake Tahoe, CA) — People near Lake Tahoe may see some smoke this week, but it should be no cause for concern. Members of multiple fire agencies that make up the Tahoe Fire and Fuels team will be conducting prescribed burns. The burns are scheduled for Glenbrook and on Daggett Summit. The burns will start tomorrow, weather permitting. They are part of an effort to reduce the wildfire risk in the Tahoe Basin, especially as the hot summer months approach.
