(Reno, NV) — Washoe County School District Superintendent Joe Ernst has an update on the recent vandalism at Reno High School. On Wednesday, Ernst announced the students responsible could be suspended, lose privileges and not take part in commencement ceremonies. The vandalism, discovered last week, included racial slurs and antisemitic remarks. There could also be citations or arrests depending on the outcome of a criminal investigation. The case will be presented to the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office for review and potential prosecution.
