(Reno, NV) — Washoe County Manager Eric Brown announces his retirement. Brown will step down at the end of this month after five-and-a-half years as county manager. A recent study highlighted the need for improved communication between the county manager’s office and the county commissioners. Brown says that factored into his decision to leave the job. Brown received a positive evaluation this past December and commissioners approved a ten percent one-time bonus to his base salary, along with an annual raise.
