(Reno, NV) — A Red Flag Warning will be in place for western Nevada between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. Wind gusts as strong as 40 miles per hour are expected during that time. In the afternoon, humidity could drop to between six and 12 percent. Winds are expected to blow from the southwest to the west. The National Weather Service says any fire that starts could spread rapidly.
