(Gardnerville, NV) — The Conner Fire south of Gardnerville is now 96 percent contained. Containment is up by 12 percent from Wednesday morning. The size of the fire has not grown past 17-thousand-714 acres of land. Crews are now focusing on putting out remaining hot spots and doing mop-up work. The fire has been burning since last Friday morning. It started as a house fire. At least three structures have been destroyed.
