Reno Resident Files Legal Claim After Rollover Crash

(Reno, NV) — A woman from Reno is filing a legal claim against the city after she was injured in a rollover crash in Stead. Debi Vidal crashed in mid-June after driving over two temporary road patches. Vidal says she was going five miles per hour slower than the speed limit when she crashed. She suffered bruises, a concussion, a back injury and other injuries. Her car was also totaled. A spokesperson for the city of Reno says a private contractor applied the temporary patches last winter after completing a utility project. The rough patches have since been permanently fixed.
