Independence Day Spending in Nevada Expected to Reach $206M

(Carson City, NV) — Independence Day spending in Nevada is expected to reach a record 206-million dollars. That is according to the Retail Association of Nevada. It comes despite a forecasted decrease in spending of more than five percent nationwide. The bulk of the anticipated spending is for food, beverages and patriotic decorations. The National Retail Federation says, based on a survey, most people will celebrate by attending picnics and barbecues.
