(Sun Valley, NV) — A newborn baby is recovering after being found abandoned in a dumpster in Sun Valley. The infant was rescued on Saturday, after a passerby heard crying and called 9-1-1. The citizen climbed into the dumpster and rescued the baby, who is now hospitalized in good condition. Police are investigating the incident. Nevada has a Safe Haven Law which allows parents to legally surrender their children within 30 days of birth.
