(Reno, NV) — It appears the city of Reno will be laying off some of its employees. On Wednesday, the Reno City Council approved a resolution that would allow for some layoffs. The city recently identified eight positions that could be cut. It comes as the city faces a 25-million-dollar deficit for the next fiscal year. The city’s director of finance cites decreasing revenue growth and increasing expenses.
