(Reno, NV) – Frustration is mounting among Washoe County School District families. Parents are speaking out after the district opted not to cancel classes during Thursday’s snowstorm. In a letter to our partners at KOLO News 8, officials say they monitor road conditions as early as 3 a.m., and they also monitor forecasts to gather up-to-date information. They add that they received information indicating that conditions would improve, but weather is still unpredictable, so assessing possible closures is “especially challenging.”
