Reno Police are investigating a fatal hit & run crash involving a pedestrian. It happened at about 9:30 last night in 2800 Block of Kietzke Lane near Gentry Way. A vehicle was traveling south on Kietzke and struck a pedestrian that was crossing the road mid-block in the dark. While the driver was stopped and trying to help, a second vehicle struck the pedestrian. The second vehicle fled the scene after stopping momentarily. This vehicle is only described as a light colored SUV similar to a Toyota Sequoia. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. He is only described as a white man in his mid to late 50’s.
