Crews with the Reno Fire Department & Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue knocked out a brush fire was reported on the 13,000 block of South Virginia Street Sunday afternoon. Officials say the fire was between 20 and 40 feet in size and may have been caused by a bird striking a power pole. It knocked out power for about 4,000 customers.
