Three men were arrested last night after one of them pulled a gun on officers. It started just after 8 o’clock in the 200 block of Disc Drive. Sparks Police were responding to a call about a disturbance in a parking lot. When officers arrived they found Justin Niles. According to police, Niles was intoxicated and refused to follow orders. As officers tried to cuff him, he resisted. Two men then approached and began to interfere. One of those men, Benjamin Miles, Justin’s son, pulled out a handgun an pointed it at one of the officers. The officer drew their firearm and demanded Benjamin drop his gun. Benjamin complied with the officer and now faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon on a protected person, and possession of cocaine. The other two were charged with obstruction.
