(Reno, NV) — A man is behind bars and faces several charges after a standoff with police in Downtown Reno. The man was arrested on Saturday afternoon, following the standoff that lasted several hours. Police say the man, identified as 27-year old Blue Jansma, pointed a gun at multiple people then ran into a nearby apartment. He surrendered after speaking with police negotiators. Jansma faces six counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of discharge of a firearm in a public place and one count of obstruction of a public officer.
