(Sparks, NV) — There are no reports of injuries after a residential gas leak triggered evacuations in Sparks. The gas leak was reported late Sunday morning, near Victorian Square. The 18-hundred and 19-hundred blocks of A Street were evacuated. Sparks firefighters and NV Energy personnel were called in to manage and contain the leak. The Sparks Fire Department says it was caused by a gas line being struck.
