Reno City Council Approves $1.03B Tentative Budget

(Reno, NV) — The Reno City Council is giving approval to a one-point-oh-three-billion dollar tentative budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The budget features 36 million dollars in funding for revitalization projects across the city. The city will also be raising the cost of land use appeal fees from 500 to 12 hundred dollars, to match what Washoe County charges. Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve says there are plans to waive the fee for residents who can’t afford it.
