(Reno, NV) — The Council on American-Islamic Relations is condemning the recent vandalism at Reno High School. The vandalism that took place last Friday included racial slurs, swastikas and antisemitic messages. The campus suffered an estimated more than 100 thousand dollars in damage. CAIR National Communications Manager Ismail Allison says they stand in solidarity with the students and staff and the community of Reno. Reno City Council member Devon Reese says it was a hate crime and is calling for a further investigation.
