(South Lake Tahoe, CA) — The two people who survived last Saturday’s boat capsizing incident on Lake Tahoe were wearing life jackets. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Hasty team made the announcement on Wednesday. Eight other passengers died, including four family members, one of whom was a Door Dash executive. The boat flipped during a sudden and destructive thunderstorm. There were eight-foot waves and strong winds at the time.
