The Washoe County Sheriff’s deputies arrested the suspect in stolen vehicle case Wednesday night, after he tried to hide in a dumpster. A Sheriff’s Deputy patrolling Sun Valley spotted a the vehicle at Rampion Way and Sun Valley Boulevard. The deputy tried to pull the suspect over, when he sped away on Sun Valley Boulevard and Clear Acre Lane. After running a red light just north of McCarran Boulevard, and nearly colliding with other traffic, the driver lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic and finally stopped on a sidewalk on the northbound side of Clear Acre Lane. The 37 year old Shawn Procacina ran for it, only to be found in the dumpster.
