The deal has been made, and Tracy Davis is now the “permanent” superintendent for the Washoe County School District. She’ll earn 311 thousand in total pay for her first year as superintendent.  The board faced an angry public after it was inaccurately reported, that her contract would be nearly half a million dollars. Board members dropped a car allowance provision and approved the agreement of an 5-2 vote.
