Reno City Council heard the Reno Police Department’s final report on the accomplishments of the Anti-Graffiti Task Force. A “Graffiti Detective,” was assigned a year ago and a “Graffiti Assistant” was hired in January. Police says they increased focus on problem neighborhoods, including Midtown, Wells Avenue, and the Truckee River corridor. They’ve partnered with the the City of Reno’s Neighborhood Advisory Boards in cleanups. They’ve also developed community partnerships with the Children’s Cabinet and Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.
