Reno police and Secret Witness are looking for more information from a tipster involving a shooting on December 6th in which a woman was killed and two other people were hurt. Police say 19-year-old Myra Rodriguez died at Renown Regional Medical Center after someone fired several shots from the street into a home on Fife Drive at about 1:30 that morning. The other two were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. When Secret Witness offered a $2,500 cash reward for information leading to arrest and prosecution in this case, someone provided a tip through the Secret Witness website. But police say the tip did not include key information needed to make an arrest. Detectives are asking the person who provided that tip to call detectives directly at 334-2188, or call the Secret Witness hotline at 322-4900.
