Nevada’s Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation is reporting that the state’s unemployment rate fell to six-point-five percent in November. That’s the lowest it’s been since June of 2008. The Chief Economist for the department, Bill Anderson, says the state added nearly 31-thousand jobs over last year, for a growth rate of two-point-five percent. However, Anderson also says that month over month employment fell by 4,800, a seasonally adjusted decline of 6,700. Governor Brian Sandoval reacted saying that Nevada continues to make great strides as our economic recovery sustains this positive momentum.
