Las Vegas school officials say they received a threat similar to ones reported by school districts around the country. A Clark County School District spokeswoman says administrators discovered an emailed threat shortly after 9:00 Thursday morning similar to those received in Los Angeles, New York, Houston and other cities. The district remained opened throughout the day.  We decided to ask what preparations local school districts have in place to protect our kids. Washoe County School District Spokesperson, Victoria Campbell says among other things the district works together with local, regional, state and federal law enforcement to keep students safe.
