A jet pilot successfully ejected from an F/A 18 Hornet jet that crashed in some rugged terrain, 25 miles east of Fallon Naval Airstation about 8:30 Tuesday morning. The pilot was checked out at the hospital and is reportedly okay. The flight is a part of routine training at Fallon, according to the U.S. Navy. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
