The Nevada State Treasurer’s Office is now accepting applications for the Kenny C. Guinn Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded each year to two Nevada students pursuing a degree in elementary or secondary education, with intentions of teaching in Nevada. Applications will be accepted until midnight April 1st for the Fall 2016 semester. In order to qualify, students must be entering into their last year of college with 90 or more credits completed. Students are required to produce a resume, a short essay, a community service statement, and recommendation letters.
