Harvey Whittemore is out of prison and in a San Francisco halfway house. The longtime Nevada lobbyist and philanthropist went to prison in 2014, after making campaign contributions in other people names, in Harry Reid’s 2010 re-election race. Reid was not accused of any wrongdoing. Whittemore was released earlier this month.
