The National Association of Campus Safety Administrators, the nation’s largest association of campus safety professionals, has chosen University of Nevada, Reno Police Chief Adam Garcia as its Police Director of the Year. In his role as director since 2001, Garcia has expanded the size and diversity of University Police Services. Garcia serves on the Nevada Homeland Security Commission, and has integrated University Police Services into regional community partnerships.
