The Carson City Fire Department will be given the Golden Rotor award from Care Flight, in recognition of the lifesaving practices performed by Carson City’s firefighters and paramedics. The award will be presented to Fire Chief Robert Schreihans. The Golden Rotor Award is given to agencies that perform lifesaving rescues that are considered above and beyond the normal emergency responses.
