The Nevada Department of Transportation’s I-580 Southbound Reconstruction Project will resume Monday. Beginning that evening, periodic lane and ramp closures will take place on both directions of I-580 between the Reno spaghetti bowl and Moana Lane. The closures will take place on varying interstate lanes and ramps Sunday through Thursday evenings between 8 pm and 5 am. Remaining roadway resurfacing and striping will be put in place, bridges resurfaced and seismically retrofitted, and lighting and other improvements made to areas not improved as part of the project last year.
