Sparks police responded to a fatal accident near the intersection of Vista Boulevard and North Wingfield Parkway. Around 6:15 Sunday night, a motorcyclist hit a curb and was thrown from his bike. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.  The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
