Scam Warning From NV Energy

koh-no-24-news

If you’re behind on your NV Energy Bill, you’ll get a ten day warning, then a 48 hour notice before they shut off the power. They want you to know that, because someone has been calling customers demanding immediate payment and threatening to cut off the power. If you get one of those calls, hand up and call NV Energy customer service. They can tell you exactly how much you owe. If you want to pay by phone that’s fine, as long as you are the one who initiates the call and the payment.
